Who Benefits From The EADTSC

  • Health professionals and students:
    Through the development and delivery of up-to-date and nationally relevant dementia education and training, the EADTSC aims to assist health professionals and students to improve their knowledge and skills in working with people with dementia and their caregivers (this includes, nurses, general practitioners and medical specialists, social workers, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and diversional therapists).

  • Industry:
    The EADTSC assists industry organisations in up-skilling their staff, improving the quality of care provided to clients and enhancing their accreditation profile, as well as recruiting and retaining qualified and committed staff.

  • Community:
    With more than 200,000 Australians currently affected by some form of dementia, the EADTSC aims to make a positive impact in their lives and that of their carers.
